The non-profit Colorado Hydrogen Network is sponsoring a first annual “Colorado Hydrogen Day” event on Sunday October 6th. Colorado has made significant progress recently to deploy hydrogen technology. To showcase that progress to the publc, the media and state legislators this all-day event will feature:

Outdoor display of hydrogen electric cars, trucks and a mobile hydrogen fueler – all operating in Colorado TODAY

An Exhibit Hall with displays by 20 companies, organizations, state agencies and universities engaged in hydrogen technology in Colorado

Dozens of interesting and engaging educational posters answering FAQ's about hydrogen safety, sources of hydrogen, and why we need hydrogen for the Energy Transition

Hourly drawings for educational energy kits, CHN logo hats, and free rentals of a Toyota Mirai hydrogen EV

A Press Briefing for the media and Legislators addressed by the Colorado Hydrogen Network Director and podcaster Brian DeBruine and Maria Eisemann from the Colorado Energy Office. There will be time for Q&A followed by a brief guided "walk around" for the group to put the companies, technology and Colorado hydrogen progress into context. The press, TV and radio media as well as members of the State Legislature are invited.
The event is free and open to the public – so bring your friends and family. Food will be available for purchase over lunchtime. Parking is free. Music during the lunch hour by the Gordon Lightfoot tribute artist Eric Elison.
The event is being held at the beautiful new “Hydro” building on the CSU Spur campus at the National Western Center (map below).
